Naast de "Rochuskapell" van Bissen staat een stenen kruis. Het is de kopie van de enige overgebleven statie uit een kruisweg uit 1735 of 1738 - het jaartal in de steen is niet goed meer te herkennen. Het origineel is in 2000 weggehaald en, na restauratie, in een museum ondergebracht.
Het is de zevende en laatste statie uit de kruisweg die ooit vanuit het dorp naar de kapel leidde. Dit exemplaar is vrijwel identiek met een kruisbeeld dat op het Septfontaine is aangetroffen en dat uit 1737 dateert. Het ligt voor de hand dat beide exemplaren door dezelfde steenhouwers zijn gemaakt, waarschijnlijk Maximilian Wolfgang en Johann Gregor Beyser, afkomstig uit Tirol.
Van de zes andere staties zijn alleen drie van de afbeeldingen overgebleven. Die hangen aan de gevels van huizen langs de straat naar de Wobierg, de vroegere kruisweg.
Next to the "Rochuskapell" in Bissen, there is a stone cross. It is a replica of the only remaining station from a way of the cross, dating back to 1735 of 1738 - the year that is enscripted in the stone is too wheathered to be recognized. The original cross has been removed, restored and placed in a museum in 2000.
It is the seventh and last station form a way of the cross, which lead from the village to the chapel. This cross is almost identical to one that was found at the cemetery in Septfontaine, which was made in 1737. It is logical to assume that both pieces have been made by the same masons, most likely Maximilian Wolfgang and Johann Gregor Beyser, both originally from Tirol.
From the other six crosses, only three of the pictures remain. They are attached to the fronts of houses along the street that leads to the Wobierg, which used to be the original way of the cross.
